Life situations change on a regular basis. It is the mission of the Post Secondary and Community Education Department at Waynesville Career Center to provide education programs that enhance skills and promote lifelong learning. Adult students are welcome to attend WCC day or evening programs. WCC offers customized training for businesses based on the needs of their employees. Financial aid is available based on need in some adult programs. Students are encouraged to complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). Waynesville Career Center is your educational partner and ready to assist in any way.

Adults can complete 1020 hours of training and earn a career and technical certificate in any of our part day programs in two school years. Other specialized programs in Practical Nursing, Cosmetology, and CNA, are open only to adult students and have more rigorous admissions requirements.
