My name is Sam Callis and I am fortunate to work with an amazing staff at the Waynesville Career Center. The WCC Staff are grateful to get to see students become career ready on a daily basis. The exceptional students that come to The WCC represent 9 different high schools. There are 19 programs, students can choose from. Our goal is to give students options that will be their best fit for career success upon graduation. We encourage anyone to schedule a visit to see what WCC does everyday. Come see for yourself. This program is designed for students who wish to gain fundamental design and layout skills to go to work in the field of Advertising Communication.
This program provides a way for students to learn about a variety of agricultural sectors and to develop leadership skills that are needed for success in the agricultural industry.
In Auto Collision you will learn how to repair automobiles from the fender bender to a totaled vehicle.
This program prepares students for entry-level skill positions in the Automotive Service Industry.
Business education facilitates learning in a student-directed environment based upon learning for and about business.
Students will have the opportunity to visit 18 different career and technical education programs and spend a few weeks in multiple programs to determine career interests.
This program designed for high school juniors, seniors to learn screen printing, embroidery, and engraving.
This program teaches fundamentals of computer hardware and software as well as advanced concepts such as networking, security and the responsibilities of an IT professional.
In CIT, you’ll learn to code in Microsoft’s Visual C# programming language as you build desktop apps and simple desktop games.
Construction Technology is a two year program that focuses on the basic and advanced skills needed to be successful in the construction field.
Students are exposed to daily practical experience, working on other students and have an opportunity to provide services to clients in a modern salon setting.
Upon completion of this course you will have the skills needed to test for your Certified Fundamentals Cook certificate, from the American Culinary Federation.

This course will provide students with skills related to the healthcare industry such as taking vital signs, body mechanics, medical terminology, and other entry-level skills.
Students will gain hands-on experience installing and repairing heating/cooling systems, electrical systems, and ventilation systems.
The goal of the program is to help the cadets grow to be better citizens in the community.
Students will learn the basic theory and operations, controls, regulations and fuels that make today's diesel engine a large part of our transportation technology.
Students will be exposed to an overview of marketing including the basic concepts and theories fundamental to this field.
Instruction includes but is not limited to, safely cutting, chipping and positioning blocks and bricks using bonding materials.
We are the only practical nursing program in Pulaski County and have been in operation since 1973.
Students in Video Production learn how to become content creators.
Welding prepares the student with occupational skills in the field of industrial welding. Students will have the opportunity to earn two AWS prequalified welding certifications.
