Welcome to Waynesville Sixth Grade Center

Ruth Anne Justice

Dear Families of the Waynesville Sixth Grade Center,

My name is Ruth Ann Justus.  I have been with Waynesville School District since 2001. I first started out as a paraprofessional in the Autism room at Pick Elementary. Throughout my teaching career, I have taught 1st and 2nd grades, both on and off post. I have been at WSGC since 2018.

I am excited to be working with sixth-grade students as they begin their journey into middle school. It is my belief that this age is a very pivotal one and one where great strides can be made in empowering all students to reach their highest potential. I am a strong proponent of teamwork and teaching the “whole” child.

I have been married to my husband, Jay, for 17 years. We have two sons, Colton and Dian.  Colton graduated from Waynesville in May of 2021. He is working with a local Heating and Cooling company. Dian will be a 10th grader at Waynesville High School. I also have one granddaughter, Presley. When I am not at school, I enjoy watching Dian play sports, spending time with my family, and serving alongside my husband in his real estate business.

Again, I am very excited to be serving the community at the Sixth Grade Center. Please feel free to contact me anytime at rjustus@waynesville.k12.mo.us.
