WHS Academic Student Achievement Program

The A.S.A.P. program is designed to provide additional academic assistance to those students unable to get adequate assistance throughout the school week. This program is strictly voluntary and will not serve as a punishment for those attending. There will not be any repercussions for signing up to attend an A.S.A.P. date but failing to attend.

It is advised to coordinate with your teacher so that your assignments, quizzes, tests, etc. will be available on your A.S.A.P. date. A testing area with a proctor will be provided for those attending to take an assessment only. Students no longer need to sign up to attend; all walk-ins are welcome.

Reminder:

  • This is an additional intervention for WHS students. This program would not be possible without teachers volunteering their time to further assist our students.

  • Check-in and out will be at the Ninth Grade Center. Please park, drop off, and pick-up at the Freshman Center parking lot.

  • Check-in is at 8:00 am in the Ninth Grade Center.

  • Snacks will be provided.

  • Assistance ends at 12:00 pm and check-out is in the Ninth Grade Center.  (*Students can leave when they wish.)

It is not mandatory to stay for the entire session; you may leave once you have fulfilled your academic needs.

Please coordinate to be picked up no later than 12:00 pm.

Advisement statement:

Students' attendance during A.S.A.P. does not guarantee that a particular teacher they desire to get assistance from will be available on the date you have chosen. Recommend prior coordination if that is important to you.
