Welcome!

My name is Lucas Smith and I am the Principal of Tiger Learning Center. I have worked in the Waynesville School District for 21 years; in that time, I have been an Elementary and High School PE/Weight lifting teacher and an assistant wrestling and football coach. I have recently been an Elementary and High School Assistant principal.

My wife, Shauna, and I have been married for 17 years and we have a 14-year-old son. I am an avid sports fan and enjoy outdoor activities. I am excited to be the Principal of the Tiger Learning Center and look forward to working with students and community members.
