Purple Star School District
The Waynesville R-VI School District is recognized as Purple Star School District by the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. The Purple Star designation is awarded to military-friendly districts that have demonstrated a major commitment to students and families connected to our nation’s military — including active duty, National Guard or Reserve members, and military veterans.
