Mrs. Shrum's Home Page

Hello and welcome to Mrs. Shrum's class! I am the LD/Resource teacher for 5th-6th grades at Wood Elementary. Ms Knight is the paraprofessional (teacher assistant) in our room. Together, we focus on improving academic skills such as reading and mathemetics which are needed for success in all areas.

In addition to developing and working on academic IEP goals, we also focus on social skills such as character and citizenship. I believe every student is unique in personality and learning style, and I strive to individualize each student's educational program to best meet his or her needs.
