Homeroom Homework Help

Students with significant academic weaknesses will be given the opportunity to receive academic assistance on Wednesday evenings from 3:45 P.M. - 4: 40 P.M. During Academic Assistance or T.I.P.S. (Tutoring Intense Program for Students) parents will need to complete, sign, and return a permission form.

STUDY ISLAND

Study Island is an excellent way for students to review, reinforce, and master skills in Math, Communication Arts, and Science for Grades 3-6.  Study Island is an online, interactive, web based program, which is aligned with grade level expectations for your student. Study Island provides immediate feedback of your student's progress and needs in these targeted areas.  In addition, the site prepares students for the MAP (Missouri Assessment Program) given in the spring of each school year. Sixth Grade students will be required to complete assignments in the following format:

  1. Completely read the assigned lesson for the skill assigned.
  2. Complete (2) game  modes for practice and enrichment
  3. Complete the Test Mode prior to the deadline given.
  4. Students will be held  accountable for their participation of completing assignments.
  5. Please no parent help or assistance on the Test Modes.
