Student Safety is a Priority

I believe that Thayer Elementary is a fantastic school in which all students learn but at the same time, all students remain safe.  To help us keep student safety a priority, we ask that student drop-off and pick-up procedures be followed by all of our patrons.  Students are to be dropped off in the rear of the building in the circle drive and enter the building through the library entrance.  In the morning the road leading to the front of the building is blocked limiting access to the front.  This is to ensure that students crossing the road in the front of the building are safe in the crosswalk.  

Please do your part to keep students and their families safe by adhering to these procedures even if inconvenient for you to do so.

It only takes one accident to make everyone sorry that procedures were not followed.
