Thayer Library Media Center
Thayer's Library Media Center is designed to meet the educational needs of our students and staff. There are three main areas: the classroom area, story pit and computer lab.
Your student will have the opportunity to visit the Library on a regular basis to checkout books. In addition to checking out books, students will have Library lessons that are collaboratively planned by the Classroom Teacher and Library Media Specialist.
The Library Media Center supports reading through the following programs: Scholastic Reading Counts, Show Me Readers' Award program, Mark Twain Readers' Award program, Six Flags Six Hour Reading Club, and the Pizza Hut Book It program.
Volunteers are always needed and welcome.
