~All About Me~

My name is Alicia Whitaker, and I am the music teacher at Wood Elementary. I am in my third year of teaching, and my first year at Wood. 

Hometown: St. James, MO
Family: I am the youngest of five children and have seven nieces and three nephews!
College: Ouachita Baptist University - Bachelor of Music Education Degree - May 2008

Favorites:
Food - Pepperoni and pineapple pizza
Color - Blue
Day - Sunday
Music - I like almost anything, but I love listening to "oldies" music! 

Random and Fun Facts:
-I'm a grape stomping champion of the St. James Grape and Fall Festival! :)
-I have been to seven countries (Senegal, Brazil, Japan, Austria, Italy, France, and Germany)
-I have been alligator hunting on the Amazon River!

Hobbies/Interests:
-Making cards/writing encouraging notes
-Singing and playing percussion
-Meeting international friends
-Traveling around the world
