Hello my name is Stephanie Peace. I am the 8th grade Special Education Science teacher here at the Middle School. This is my 5th year teaching in the Waynesville R-VI School District. In addition, to teaching science I also have two Resource classes where I provide extra support to students who have special needs, but receive the majority of the services in the Regular Education classrooms. I also work with Mr. Dunkel and Mr. Thornsberry to assist students in their Regular Education science classes. My schedule and contact information is provided below.

1st hour: Specialized Instruction 8th Grade Science
2nd hour: CWC 8th Grade Science w/ Mr. Thornsberry
3rd hour: Plan time (9:40-10:25)
4th hour: Specialized Instruction 8th Grade Science
5th hour: Specialized Instruction Resource
6th hour: Specialized Instruction Resource
7th hour CWC 8th Grade Science w/ Mr. Dunkel

Academic Assistance & after-school Enrichment Activities:
I provide academic assistance on Tuesdays and Wednesdays after-school. If there comes a time when it is necessary for a student to stay after-school for extra support I will send home a letter. However, students are always welcome to stay if they feel they are in need of my assistance.
On Thursdays I work with Mrs. Hale to provide students who are interested in Science fun, hands-on activities that re-enforce science concepts that we are learning in the classroom through our MAD SCIENCE club. ALL 7th and 8th grade students are welcome to participate.
