Get ready for a journy through time. We will begin our journey with early European Explortation and will end the year with the signing of the United States Constitution and the birth of a new nation. We will learn about the people who traveled vast distances in search of new land, what life was like for early colonial settlers, what led to the Revolutionary War and its aftermath, and about the work of our founding fathers, whose ideas led to the creation of one of American History’s most important documents, the Constitution.

You may ask yourself, “why do I need to learn American History?” Let me give you a few reasons why learning history is important. Learning American History will help you understand the cause and effect relationship between past and present events. By engaging in the study of our country’s history, you will be able to develop an appreciation of American Heritage and how it directly relates to your life.
So, come aboard and get ready for an amazing journey through early American History.
