Course Description: Physical Science is the study of matter, energy, and the changes they undergo. Physical science is divided into two main areas: chemistry and physics. Chemistry is the study of the properties of matter and how matter changes. Physics is the study of matter and energy and how they interact.

We will be doing many hands on activities and projects this year that may require additional homework on the part of your child. Complete instructions will be provided so that you may assist your child with any help they require. The best way for your child to learn is to do the work themselves, although some assistance or supervision may be helpful to them.

I am looking forward to serving you and your child during the coming year and I stand ready to provide your child with some of the most rewarding educational experiences possible. If at any time you may need my assistance, please feel free to contact me at school.  My preparation period this year is 3rd hour, which is from 9:40 - 10:27 a.m., or we can schedule before and after school meetings depending on individual needs.

I am sure this year will be a great one for all of us, and you can be assured that educational excellence will be our priority. I am counting on your support and you can count on me as I strive to help your child achieve this year's goals.
