The Educator of the Year program at Waynesville High School honors an outstanding educator who has exemplified himself/herself within the education profession.
The Waynesville High School Educator of the Year should be highly competent, outstanding in the field of education, and a reflection of the excellence of Waynesville High.
The selection process for the Waynesville Educator of the Year begins with a nomination from a staff member or student. The Educator of the Year committee will screen the nominations and announce the final candidates to the faculty in April. The winner will be recognized during the passing of the torch ceremony.
