Our class is learning about our great state of Missouri this year.  In October, we visited our states capitol in Jefferson City. We meet our State Representative, David Day.  Rep. Day took us on the House floor and answered questions about what takes place in the House of Representatives.
We then walked to the Governors Mansion for a tour.  The mansion was decorated for Halloween, so we were able to see it in different decor.
On May 5th we learned of some local history.  We toured the Old Courthouse and the Old Stage Coach Stop.  The students learned about Pulaski County's history.  Mr. Primas and Mrs. Scott gave us a tour of the Old Courthouse.  We were amazed to learn that the courthouse cost $10,000 to build and furnish in 1903.
We then walked to the Old Stage Coach Stop were Mr. and Mrs. Primas took us through 9 rooms restored to various periods in the buildings history.
This is just a few of the things we have learned about our state this year.
