I grew up on a small farm in Lone Jack, Missouri near Kansas City.  I met my husband, Jay, in college and we returned to his hometown of Waynesville over twenty years ago.  We live on a horse ranch and have four children.  Joel is a junior at Missouri State in Springfield. Jason is a freshman at UMKC.  Jordan, our daughter, is a sophomore at WHS and Jesse is a 7th grader at Waynesville Middle School.

I have been teaching for 8 years in the Waynesville District.  I also have my Master's Degree in Elementary Education from Drury University.  My passion is to provide children with a quality education so they can become lifelong learners.
