Agriculture Science I

This is an introductory level agriculture science class. Greenhouse, animal science, plant science, and leadership development are introduced through classroom, lab experiences and field trips.

Students will be able to:

1. Students will be able to identify and describe effective leadership skills related to participation in FFA
2. Students will be able to describe the scope of careers in the agriculture industry
3. Students will have a basic knowledge of agricultural animal reproduction
4. Develop and participate in an SAE program
5. Students will have basic knowledge of animal nutrition
