It is the mission of the Post Secondary and Community Education at Waynesville Career Center to provide education programs that enhance skills and promote lifelong learning. Adult students are welcome to attend WCC day or evening programs. Day programs include Computer Networking, Graphic Design, Automotive Technology, Welding and Manufacturing, Cosmetology, Paramedic, along with many others. Evening courses include classes in trade and technical courses, computers, enrichment and crafts. WCC offers customized training for businesses based on the needs of their employees. Financial aid is available based on need in some adult programs. Students are encouraged to complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). Short courses such as Microsoft Excel and Office as well as Welding and Manufacturing have been offered for local businesses.
