The Waynesville R-VI School District is located in south-central Missouri off Interstate 44 between St. Louis and Springfield, about 45 minutes southeast of the Lake of the Ozarks.  The district serves the growing communities of Waynesville and St. Robert, and the Fort Leonard Wood military post which results in a mobile community and a diverse student body. 

Five elementary schools, one middle school, one high school, and one area career center serve the student population of approximately 5,900.  Our district combines the advantages of a larger school district with the atmosphere of a smaller school district.
