CSIP Comprehensive School Improvement Plan

The Waynesville R-VI district is committed to quality delivery of instructional services in a manner that is the most efficient and produces the greatest student achievement.  To achieve that purpose, we have developed a systematic plan of reviewing and implementing educational programs.  The district has established several SMART goals associated with student achievement. The district's SMART goals form the basis of the Comprehensive School Improvement Plan (CSIP). The student achievement goals are closely monitored not only at the district and building level, but at the individual student level as well in order to make informed educational decisions.

The following tables show the district's progress toward meeting student achievement goals over the past three years. A few words of explanation: 1) NCLB Communication Arts and Math and MAP APR goals illustrate the percentage of students scoring proficient or above on the Missouri Assessment Program (MAP) test; 2) Reading Level depicts the percentage of students in grades 2-10 reading at or above grade level on the spring test; 3) MSIP goals reflect the progress toward meeting student achievement goals as defined by the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) in their MSIP scoring guide.
